What is everyone using for dosing containers?
I use the one gallon jugs from BRS and get tired of mixing up new jugs every week.

Has anyone used the leftover one gallon containers that contain the supplement to make extra?

I picked up cereal containers from Walmart....I think about 1 gallon each. What I liked about these is that refilling is easy with the wide opening in the top.

Do you get your supplement from BRS?

What do you do with the empty container?

Can you pre mix a few gallon jugs and use it later?
I’d think you could since our mix sits at our doser for a week or 2.

I use the one gallon jugs. And I would imagine it would be ok to make up some jugs and store them for later use as long as it’s sealed. Are u really going through a gallon of this a week?

I use the DIY recipe from Dr. Randy HERE.

The chemicals are extremely stable, and therefore no issue pre-making this stuff. I never took note how long a gallon lasts, but I'd guess a month and a half to two months. That picture above was taken right after I built the cabinet. It now looks like this, with premade jugs of alk, calc, and mag.....and DIY NoPox added.

It probably lasts me 2-3 weeks.

Here is what I dose
180 ml for CA
192 ml for Alk

My tank size is around 500 gallons combined.
