Dosing Dispensing Location: After, in or before refugium? Does it matter?

In my cadlights sump the dosers drip into the central compartment that also serves as the refugium. Is this okay?

It is after the heating area and skimmer compartments.

if things are actually living in the refuge... i don't think it would be a good idea.

the immediate area where a doser drips will always have an elevated spike of whatever your dosing for a short amount of time.

I dose at the return pump compartment.

As long as you're not pouring a bunch in it shouldn't be a problem the water is being turned over so fast it's not like it's just hanging around. I learned a very long time ago in this hobby is not to over think to much
