Dosing ESV bionic 1 and 2

I am currently dosing ESV calcium and alkalinity buffer in my 45 gallon reef tank. I was doing parts 1 and 2 EOD, but is there a consistent way to dose to get Ca to 400-420 and KH at 8-9?

EOD=Every other day? To be consistent you should dose small increments daily. BRS has a 2 part calculator on the website. Also set up a dosing pump and that will get you more consistent numbers. Remember your corals will consume cal and alk so those numbers change from time to time.

I had great success with esv b-ionic.
You have to test your water first. Then bring it up to where you want it using a reef calculator.
Wait a few hours then test again to verify the tank is where you want alk and calcium.
The next day you test again and see
How much alk your tank consumed in that 24 hours.
Once you get that number figured out that is how much you dose everyday.

I used this calculator http://reef.diesyst.com/chemcalc/chemcalc.html to get it to my desired level; I first do mg, then CA then spread out the alk over the day (never raising more than 1dkh per day).

once you test and they’re all where you want them to be just leave it alone for 24 hours. Subtract the new levels and that’s how much you’ll want to dose per day.
