Dosing for more color in sps

U could try Red Sea color system I use the iodine one when my red monti starts looking little pale I also use the KZ coral system just started using it so not sure if it works or not but there are a couple videos on you tube with good results with it
What colors need improving usually that will tell u what levels may be low
Could also send a water sample to triton and see how it comes back

My Tank Thread
I've taken my tank down after 20 years, but the things I dosed regularly were limewater, vinegar, silicate, and iron. Other additives such as vanadium might have been useful since they were lower than NSW levels, but on the few times I experiments in the past with a trace element mixture, I saw no difference. Same lack of apparent effect for iodine (I dosed it for years then stopped) and strontium (brief experiments).

I have tried a few products from ZioVit including ZeoSpur2 and for me I got mixed results varying from very little, nothing changed to corals didn't look as good. I myself don’t like messing around with products that reduce the number of zooxanthellae as this messes with the natural balance within the coral. They can reduce the number so low you effect the corals ability to produce energy from the Zooxanthellae because the density is now to low to match the size of coral and it's energy needs. In a case like ZeoSpur2 properly managing nutrients will keep populations of zooxanthellae reduced so the density is not so great it reduces the visibility of color. You can have negative results in your corals if things go wrong if you use products like this improperly. Some people swear by Ziovite line but since I got no noticeable results most of the time to very little they were a waste of money for me. In a smaller systems they might make a bigger difference but in larger they are expensive way to supplement your tank for little results.
