My last tank had some basic corals and the colors were very dull. I want to get a bit more color in my corals this time around and wondered if I should be dosing anything, I use all Red Sea supplements and ran across red seas coral colors ABCD supplement. Is this something I should be dosing in a SPS mixed reef tank.

I don’t have any corals yet, I’ve got a newly cycled 30 gallon AIO system with just a few snails and crabs so far. Just looking for info when we add corals in the future.

This is an old pic of the tank, we changed up the rockscape a bit but this is the setup I’ve got.

Lighting also plays a big role on how the corals look. Too much white and they may look dull and brown, too blue and you only see the fluorescent side of the coral.
