So I need R2R's help.
I am jumping back into sps and I need an opinion on my dosing pump.
Do I go big with the bubble mag and containers or can I go with the BRS dosing pumps and hook them up to my apex.
Ive heard crash stories on both and I cant afford the apex DOS so thats out of the picture.

Any help would be awesome

I've used BRS dosing pumps for years hooked up to home depot timers . "knock on wood " never had a problem. ........now I have to go check them, they probably just dumped a gallon of calcium in my tank as I typed this!!!

I am looking at this for me. Maybe it would work for you?

I also have a ghl.......sitting in a box.......on top of my boxes of salt. I like the ghl but it was really expensive and I had 1 malfunction on a client's 420 gallon Freshwater tank. Put an entire gallon of iron and and entire gallon of potassium in. Granted the plant growth was amazing but it took 3 70% water changes before you could see the plants and discus. I'm sure that could happen with any doser but it's only ever happened to me with that one.

Love my GHL doser it is expandable. I am setting up a Automatic Water change system with a new slave system. You can way more with it than the average doser.
