dosing help

Hey all,

I recently set up an autodoser and started dosing my tank. I am dosing ESV Alk and Cal solutions in equal part. I started at 15ml a day of each and have been going up 5mls a day since because I want to raise my alk to 8.5-9 range. Today was a 25ml dose and I am getting 7.3alk readings every day I'm conducting my testing an hour after dosing for the day is over. I have my alk set to dose and then an hour after cal doses and I do that 3 times a day. Im confused how my reading could be the same every day but im putting in more solution every day. Please help me understand! im scratching my head on this one

What method are you using for testing?

Best way to determine consumption need is take a baseline reading, do not dose, wait 24 hours (or even 48) and take another reading. Now you know how much consumption was. Use appropriate calculator to determine daily dosing need (if you waited 48 hours, divide by 2).
