Dosing iron for chaeto amount ?

Have been having issues with chaeto in my 12g cube. have a small fuge and was thinking after reading it may be a iron issue. read the @Randy Holmes-Farley articles and posts. I have some brightwell aquatics Ferrion. does anyone know how I can determine what is the minimum dose recommended for my 12g cube which has 8g of water volume. From the instruction and calculations it looks like 0.8 ml of Ferrion every other day.

Any dose may be enough. Exact dosing is not important. Try a small dose and see what happens.

I recommend once a week.

I follow Red Sea’s Trace Color Program. Part C has a lead element of Iron. For my 75/G water volume is dose about 1/2 of what’s recommended which is 0.37mL daily with excellent results. Algae on my Loc-Line returns is blowing up since I started.

I bet I could dose 2mL a week with same results. Just to give you an idea for your system.
