dosing kalk with ato

wondering how i would use my ato to dose kalk. can i mix it up in my reserve that is 5gal and let it feed when my tank tops off. 5 gal lasts about a week my tank doesn't lose a lot of water. can someone guide me threw this, this is my first attempt with kalk.
