I started dosing kalkwasser to raise my pH that was at 7.7

Now I'm at 8.1 with dosing pH, but calcium has gone up to 508ppm I know kalkwasser does this, but how do I continue to does kalkwasser to raise pH and keep calcium at bay?

What's the alkalinity level? Has it increased a lot?

What was calcium before? 508 ppm is fine, but it really should not have risen greatly if alk only went up by 0.5 dKH. Maybe 10 ppm.
I just skimmed through your article on pH and I would open the windows in the morning time for a few hours and the pH would stay the same. I read that maybe not enough aeration in the aquarium. I actually put in today Gyre Flow Pump now I have a ton of water movement. Maybe this will work?! I also read about Sodium Hydroxide (caustic soda) how does that work, is a guide to follow how to dose or make the recipe? Thanks again, you're always such a great help. Much appreciated!

My calcium was 432ppm a week prior. Alk was 9.9 a week prior and is now 10.2

I think there is some testing issue or some other reason calcium moved. Kalk cannot do what you mention.

Ok, maybe I'll try retesting. I'm using hanna checker. Do you recommend any other testing products?

For calcium and alk, Salifert kits should be suitable. For alk, I recommend a diy as cheaper and better, if you have a pH meter.
