Hello,

Just looking out for various opinions and user experiences with this equipment. Its from Korallenwunder and it is an in-line dosing tube.

This is an alternative to having tubes transversing the nooks and crannies of the sump area.
Presumably the flow has to be low to prevent pressure back wash, and
Minimise dosing tube length.

Any ideas or comments are welcome.

Cheers

I feel like while it's not being dosed water would be getting into the dosing lines and diluting what your dosing. So if you dose 1 mil at a time how much of that 1 mil in the line has been diluted with water already. Granted I don't know if it's enough to matter but I wonder if they've tested it

Hm....occurs to me just now that the back-pressure might be just the ticket for closing a check valve to prevent any back-siphoning. Those valves can be sketchy when nothing but the tiny amount of dosing fluid in the line is pulling them shut.

Hello,

Thanks for the response.
My thoughts exactly on the back flow pressure and potential for diluting dosing fluid.
