I was wondering where everyone has their dosing lines? Right now they’re in the bubble trap section of my sump, but I was wondering if I could have them dose into my over flow box. Currently my doser is above my tank for space as I have an unused shelf there. It would be nice to shorten the dosing line. That or I could just give in and move my unit. Any ideas?

You can have them anywhere you have good water flow.....location doesn't really matter. Mine sit in my skimmer section of my sump.

Are you still dosing into the bubble trap or did you switch?

I too am dosing into the middle section of my sump, so my dosing goes through the bubble trap straight to the return pump, but I've wondered if anything is building up and being lost in the trap.

For now I don't plan a change, unless someone can give a good reason that going through the bubble trap is inefficient.

I’ve since switched dosers and now dose into my over flow box. The only issue I’ve ever had with the bubble trap was it spraying down the separate panels
