Dosing location in sump

I dose in my return because I have a lot of flow there the biggest reason is I have a refugium between that and don't think it's a good idea to dose before that chamber
My dosing lines are in the mid chamber of sump but different sumps have different configurations. Best is right before water gets to return pump for disburesement to the tank

What all are you dosing ? I believe what your dosing directs where you are dosing. For example, if you're dosing iron, before the refugium would be ideal, if you're dosing 2 part I would dose that very close to the return pump chamber, if you're dosing amino acids definitely nowhere near the skimmer input, they will skim out as fast as you dose them.

Welcome to the Reef, I dose right next to the return pump.

I dose ca and mg at return pump in sump, alk at return nozzle in display. Alk is dosed in morning, ca/mg in afternoon.

For myself Just alk and CA. Anything else is manually dosed for control of ML requirement

Welcome and I go to the return chamber, that has a small powerhead in it because when I am gone for short business trips, the auto feeder also drops small amount of pellets there.
So there lots of water movement

and use the non- interference timing option on the Kamoers when called for..

Welcome to your new home for saltwater reef aquarium resources and fun! Welcome to the family! :D
