Dosing Lugols Solution?

I have a mr. Aqua 7.5 gallon cube and it is heavily stocked with zoanthids, to get more growth and keep things happy my lfs recommended dosing 1/4 a drop of Lugols every night which is the recommended dosing for that size tank. Has anyone heard of this or is this to much iodine.

I will dose Lugols, but my organisms are all gorgs and leathers. I don't do any particular schedule though. You should be fine not dosing if you are doing water changes regularly. I assume in a 7.5g you would not need it. Just do huge water changes more than once per week and you will be fine.

I wouldn't dose it unless you test for it.
