Hi all, I am hand doing my DKH and Mag until I get them to a level where auto dosing can take over. I have got my DKH up to where I want it but that needs 1ml ever 6 hours to keep it at 8.2

Since getting the DKH in checkmy mag has started to drop, currently at 1312, my Calcium is at 480.

I had read not to dose Mag and Alk at the same time, but was not sure how I take that statement. Do I need to leave a gap of a certain time between dosing ALK and Mag?

I have a 100 gallon tank and my target is to keep mag at 1350

Most everyone doses Mg more rarely. Weekly/monthly. Alk is supplemented daily or multiple times per day, so it's not hard to add them at separate times.
But they don't really interfere. I'm guessing the advice you've heard is based on the idea that if Mg is really low, then added Ca/Alk can precipitate so it's recommended to add magnesium first. But that really only applies if it's low. Otherwise it really shouldn't matter much. You could probably add them to opposite sides of the tank within seconds of each other and be fine.
