I have been dosing magnesium. I am currently at 1350. I dosed 20 ml in my 60 gallon tank and my turbo just dropped and died. My nassarious is now not looking good. I use the sailfert test kits. I have been dosing under the recommended amounts. I wanted to get my magnesium up to 1400. From what I read, this level should bother them but it seems to be killing them

High magnesium known to affect snails as anaesthetic. Been there too… Wait a few weeks and water changes and you can try it again.
get proper test for magnesium to confirm this is your issue as 1350 itself is not that high. Maybe too fast change.

So after you added 20ml of product, what did MG test at.
It still test the same. The bottle says 5ml is will increase 10 gallons of water by 9pm. So if I dosed 20, then my my magnesium should only go up 2ppm given my tank volume. I dosed it right at the top of my tank and I wonder if my turbo took in an intense amount which just stunned it and got it.
