Dosing n and p. Now my corals e algae is disappearing

Need help! I started dosing n and p now my coraline algae is dying off and I am getting Dino’s and cyno.
current levels are
Ph 8.3
Alk 8.1
Cal 465
Mag 1350
Nitrate 10.4
Phosphate.05
Salinity 1.026
Temp 78

What brand and type are you using for the nutrients?

Also,
How fast did you dose?

I doubt dosing nitrates and phosphate has anything to do with your coraline dying. We're these 2 areas bottomed out for awhile before dosing? If so, that is the source of dinos and your coraline dying off.

Wouldn’t you want to use Neophos for phosphate? I have both neonitro and neophos and dose depending nutrient levels of each

Just double checking, did you mean NeoPhos for Phosphate?

Yes neophos. My bad.

They were not bottomed out all the way just really low. My coraline was growing good before.

I agree that the dosing is not likely causing coralline decline. It also is unlikely to be causing the dinos.

I think I just went to much to fast. I pulled out the old up sterilizer and fired it up. It’s been awhile since I dealt with the ugly stage. Lol I’m just going to let it ride and stay the course.
