dosing nitrate and vibrant?

Has anyone tried dosing vibrant and supplementing nitrate and phosphate at same time? I have recently begun feeding more in an effort to stimulate what seemed to be stalled growth with SPS in my tank. I almost immediately began to see an increase in algae with the increased feedings. Also started dosing brightwell nitrate but got a little scared because of the increasing algae. Measured nitrate is 0 and phosphate when measured is also very low. So I was thinking about trying to reduce the algae with vibrant but feel like I would need to supplement in an effort to keep from bottoming out my nitrate and phosphate. For 25 years I have run a tank that has always measured 0 nitrate but my new venture into sps has me thinking differently.

I haven't used Vibrant but I suspect that when you use it, any algae that it kills is going to release the sequestered nitrates and phosphates into your tank. So if you have existing algae I'd probably hold off on any dosing on top of that.

Yup. I like to keep my SPS dom tank at 25 nitrates. SPS seem to love nitrate dosing. Colors look amazing. But I do a maintenance dose of vibrant
