Simple question that I'm sure will have many complex answers!

Just started my first marine tank and added my first Duncan coral, already obsessed with corals and will be adding more over time!

I'm trying to keep it simple for daily tasks and manual dosing doesn't sound like fun to me, however my tank is only small so don't want the expense of dosing pumps etc.

My question is this, can I dose nutrients or additives into my ATO reservoir for it to be added through the ATO pump? I have a Fluval Evo with the stock lid so my evaporation is only around 1 litre per week at the moment.

I have one of those tanks, and there is no need to dose.

Just water change 20% a week

You don't need to worry about dosing, just do your water changes. Eventually, kalkwasser in the ATO is a popular method many reefers have used for years. However, you don't have enough consumption and starting dosing now would most likely just throw the whole tank out of whack.
