It worked just fine. Refrigeration is used for long term storage. You have to remember that all types of phytoplankton replicate in ocean waters and temperatures vary...Now if you plan on making 1 gallon and only use 5ml a week I highly suggest refrigerating it as well as shaking it often. I believe the main thing is ton make sure the cells are in suspension so that they don’t land on top of each other,suffocating and eventually killing each other. So as long as you keep it well mixed and used in a timely fashion you should be fine. Smelling the culture will gives you a good idea if it has gone bad or not.How does This work for you? Without keeping it refrigerated?
