I was wondering, since I have to reset my QT tank and wait for it to cycle I wanted to see if anyone has had experience with dosing Prazi Pro treatment in a plastic box. I'm sure the NO3 and Nitrates will be sky high after a day of treatment. So I'm thinking what if I changed the water once a day and re-dosed the original treatment concentration to the new water. If I remember correctly it directs to treat for three days, so does three water changes over three days with redosing meds have the same effect as dosing in a cycled QT tank? Sorry for the bad English structure... Thanks in advance!

Prazi-Pro really does its work in the first 24hrs. You don't need to maintain a certain level of Prazi-pro in your quarantine tank. AFter the first dose, you will need to do about a 25% water change in about 3-4 days...then add a second dose of Prazi-Pro after about 6 days from the first dose.

I run a 10g quarantine tank that is setup just before new fish arrive. It is not fully cycled when the new fish is added. I cycle it by adding BioSpira initially and then add a little bit each day for the first week. I've never had ammonia issues doing this.

Don't worry about nitrate issues if only quarantining fish. You will be able to control these from going too high with water changes that you will need to do occasionally between fish med treatments. If treating with copper, that is where you need to be very careful to dose the new saltwater to the same copper dosage level as the quarantine tank water when doing water changes.

Nice! Thanks for the info, but at the moment my QT tank needs a reset, my Powder died from high nitrates, was surprised at how quickly it affected the fish, after a big water change it was already too late. I have to reset my QT tank going to take a week, in the mean time I'm going to Prazi one of my hippos in TTM after the TTM, looks like its got some flukes under the skin. So I can just bath for 24hrs and put the hippo into new mix water?
