Was using kalk, but then ordered a kamoer X1 and some Tropic Marin all for reef. That's proved to be a Pita to dial in so I just ordered a 2nd x1 and some b ionic.
Arm and hammer (sodium bicarbonate) for alkalinity boost in solution when needed. Calcium and alkalinity with kalkwasser , Mrs wages (calcium hydroxide) in ATO top off.
Auto dose BRS two part. Manually dose mag because water changes seem to help keep it up fairly well. When the tanks need mag, it seems like a change in mag doesn't have an adverse effect on the well-being of the inhabitants.
BRS phrama sodium bicarbonate and calcium carbonate on a BRS doser that doses for a minute or 2 on the hour every hour. Weekly 20% water changes then test both and adjust as needed. Mag never seems to be an issue. Alk is normally good, maybe off by .2dkh at water change and cal is 10ppm or less of my mark so I add and go about my business. If it gets off consistently I add another dose to the timers and call it good.
