Dosing pump back flow prevention.

How are you all preventing backflow/air bubbles in your dosing systems? I do have a couple of cheap airline backflow preventers that don’t seem to be doing much to prevent air in the system. Could use some advise please. I’m using a Jebao DP4 and Marinecolor[emoji768] Acryli Made Liquid Storage Bucket and Aquarium Dosing 4 way tube holder. I have used zip ties on all connections but still seem to get air bubbles.
