Dosing pump calibration question

Hey guys,

Just got my first dosing pump.
Question about calibration. Do I need to run the calibration with the actual tubing that goes in the tank (lenght and path) or can I run it with any lenght of tubing on the floor or whatever?
The pump will be under my tank with maybe a 4 or 5 feet lenght of tubing going up to it.

I’d calibrate it with the length being used .
So for my dosing pump , I can manually run each head to assure no air is in the line .
once calibrating , measuring the 100ml

I’d assume removing the hose or changing it effect the volume dispensed ?

dosing alk or cal , I’d want to be sure it’s right

May depend somewhat on doser type.
I use the 4 channel Jebao DP-4.
I calibrated at my desk with 2, one foot hoses and a 150ml measuring cup.
I found no measurable difference in the longer run, mine is three feet up.
In the end, always double check live system.

Alright, I pretty much have the same doser but the wifi version. Thanks

Exact same dosing pump I have but assumed I was the only one to use that particular brand .
Just watched a refresher video on calibrating and programming .
i haven’t used it in a few years .

are replacement heads available ?
One wasn’t working so swapped it out with the spare or came with .
