Getting ready to install my kamoer fx-stp dosing pump and avast kalk reactor. Wanted some opinions on mounting location for the kamoer.

I believe both ways should work fine? Option 1 or 2? Either way the dosing pump is above water reservoir. Only difference is outlet pumping up a foot or so or outlet going downhill. Option 1 with dosing pump below control panel allows easiest access for maintenance. Sorry for the high quality drawings .
Red = kamoer pump
Black = avast kalk reactor
Blue = water lines

Doesn’t the pump need to be below the point of entry into the tank to prevent any potential for gravity to overdose if the pump fails?

So I like number 1

Nope , gravity isn’t a part in dosers the tubes are in constant close and solution is pulled through by a triangular wheel

Ok, mine could stop in open which would lead to disaster. If it stops in any way when lower, worse case liquid moves back to bottle.

All the dosers operate the same way they have 3 contact points in a triangular formation so there’s always one contacting the housing

The kamoer fx-stp actually has a 6 roller drum. But yes, works exactly the same.
Well I didn’t know that , only took a few apart donkeys years ago when I had a used tanks/equipment / livestock shop so sure I’m sure newer versions are updated but as you say they have the same function , there’s always a contact point between the tube and plastic screw thingymebob ( sorry no idea what to call them but you know anyways)

Pretty clever design. Believe 3 rollers are in contact at a time. Triple protection.
