Getting ready to start 2 part dosing soon. Anybody see any issue with the dosing pump being lower than the water level of the jug ?

should I put it up higher? The output will be above the water level.

I always dose in the return section, as close to the return pump or pumps a possible. You want it to be above the normal, or even slightly higher normal water level. You want to dose in turbulent waters, and, what's better than the return pumps. ;)

Yeah, I plan on running the output to the return section. What I was wondering is if there is a problem with the dosing pump not being placed ABOVE the dosing container? It’s not hooked up yet but I was planning on putting it where you see in the pic.

Bump. Anyone have any thoughts on the relative location of the dosing pump to the two part solution?

I have the exact same question/issue

As long as your lines don't leak you will be okay. But if a line comes loose you may end up siphoning your container into your stand and on the floor.
