Hey guys, I've been messing with trying to get my calcium reactor adjusted but feeding it with a maxi jet with a valve on it just isn't working. I am thinking of getting a parastlytic pump to supply it. Does anyone have a cheap one laying around that is suitable? I would prefer one that the flow rate can be adjusted but I guess I could hook it up to my apex with a timer.

It is a homemade one that I made several years ago. When I had it running before I was able to get it adjusted pretty well. My main problem now is I can get it set where I want but after a day or two the drip rate slowes down. The valve I have on it is just a cheap ball valve and I know isn't ideal. I was thinking of just getting a better valve but I like the controllability of a parastlytic pump.

Thanks but I think I have the problem solved. I put a different valve on it and it seems to be working fine. I think I'll just stick with the valve for now.
