Dosing pump redundancy idea

My fear is a nopox overdose. My idea is to use one dosing pump to "dose" a reservoir and then a second pump to dose from the reservoir to the tank. The idea is that if the one to the tank jams on, the reservoir will obly have, say, a double dose available. Seems to make an overdose nearly impossible but a no-dose twice as likely. Thoughts?

If you have the equipment readily available, not a bad idea. But... It also doubles you possiblity of a failure.

If anything fails, This will prob help under dose then overdose, it might be worth a try!

I have it set up. Jebao 4. Pump 1 doses 15ml into a 50ml tube set in a tupperware. Secong pump doses from that into the tank. Seems foolproof. Third pump drains my skimmer 2X per day into a reservoir.
