Dosing pump / reservoir for Amino Acids?

Let's say I want to regularly dose Amino Acids. Can I keep them in a dosing container and use a dosing pump? Or does this need to be sealed and vigorously shaken before I dose? Could I just stir it up every couple days?

You'd want a product that won't become a bubbling mass of bacteria in a week.

Often they are protected by preservatives that, once diluted for dosing, might lose their effectiveness.

OK, so it sounds like hand dosing would still be needed =) Bubbling mass of bacteria sounds undesirable!

How about straight KNO3?

KNO3 is likely fine. Amino acids might bee too if you can dose a form that is shelf stable without diluting it.

Just be sure to not dilute for dosing.

I dose acropower on a dosing pump, no issues. I have it set to dose every 3 days. Depending on how much you are dosing and how big of a bottle you are using shaking it every couple of weeks is no big deal, but may or may not be needed.

If/when I ever get around to dosing AcroPower, I think I'm going to drop a real small pump into the container to mix it up before I start dosing. Should be pretty simple thing to do if you've got two empty sockets on your controller. A pump like...

Oh that's super cool. I guess you could just keep it in the container and have it turn on before each dose. You'd just have to keep the liquid pretty high.

I wouldn't point it up. I'd either have it sit on its side, or put an elbow on the output with some tubing.
