dosing pump timer not working

Hello all,
I have a question.
I made a dosing pump and i could not manage to control it with pwm signal and l293 motor board.
So i tried to control the pump with a timer but that also doesn`t seem to work.
When i switch the pump on or off in reef pi it works fine.
I followed te reef pi guide for the right settings.
Can someone please help me out in this one.

can you share some details on the timer based setup? whats the timer specification you are using? circuit details etc
