I got a kamoer x1 pro T to dose kalk, my tank is small so it will be a fairly slow drip, starting with the minimum dose of 0.1ml a min.
The question is how long can I go without replacing the head tube? The app suggests a 1000hr, thats ridiculous I dose 12hr a day, wich means I would have to replace the tube every 83 days.

Does it run a full 12 hours or does it dose intermittently during that 12 hours?

Then I’m not really sure. I used Neptune DOS and they don’t run continuous. Sorry not much help.
not sure how much they cost, but maybe get a couple as back up and monitor dosage every month or so for peace of mind.

AWC, ATO, or DOS? Depending on application will dictate how soon the tubes need replacing.

I finally replaced the heads, and tubing(you can buy them as one unit, it just snaps into place) after 2 years. I dose 238ml a day split up into 199 doses at 2ml a dose, my pump runs at 7ml/m.

It was still very accurate, the pinch rollers were getting worn out and making more noise then usual.

When they wont stay calibrated, it's time to replace the tubing.

I was doing about a gallon a day of Kalkwasser and started to leak after 6 months, they sent me a free head replacement, there is a guy that developed a fix using 3d printed rings/gaskets to prevent some of the rubbing in the head, I am currently running a new head and a new head with printed rings to see which goes longer, I am also only doing half the dosing I used to since I got a second pump to do the same 1 gallon daily.

I ran the Kamoer fx on my carx. I replaced every 6 months. I was running 45-50mlm continous.
At 1ml a minute you could go a year easily. Check it at 6 months and you should be good. It will flatten out and become harder after 6 months at the speed I ran.

How did your tube life end up?

I'm running .5mlm - .8mlm continuous and was wondering about the tube life too.

Debating whether intermittent dosing or 24/7 continuous is better.

Anyone know where to get replacement tubing?

Dosing kalk.

It was over 5000 and going strong, one day I noticed it wasn't dripping and thought the tube was bad and replaced it, but ended up it was a connection problem, so I think it would hold a long time.

I bought the replacement at Aliexpress the kamoer store told me it's the 4,5mm/2,5mm

Those recommendations are usually for when supporting a life. You can just use it until it breaks and then replace it. As long as you check it every day, you won't hurt much.

I used to use Kangaroo, which was the Kamoer or MasterFlex of yesteryear (beyond super reliable dosing pump). I was like a yearly guy.

When you buy or order tubes, get a bunch. The supply place near me went out of business and when I was out, I never bothered to get new tubes and just abandoned the unit. There was nothing wrong with it, it was just not easy anymore. As cheap as the stuff was, I just should have bought many years worth.

Kalk can harm cheap lines, so get the good ones.

Would you happen to have a link? :)

Thanks!
Something like this. Check it out before you order to make sure it's what you want.

Actually, I can't find 2.5x4.5mm
Decimal size would be 3/32x3/16. That is small. You sure about the size?

Were you able to set your pump up to dose continuously for only 12 hours a day? If so, how? I can only seem to either do it continuous 24/7 or intermittent dosing at set times if I want to do it during specific times of day.

I wanted to set it up for continuous dosing overnight for the kalk...

Nope no idea on the tube size unless i missed it somewhere in this thread. I will ask Kamoer, they've been really responsive to questions on Amazon. fwiw they will sell a full replacement head for this pump for $25. May get one just to have a full back up and order the tubing from US Plastics.

At the time I was using a timer, now it's running full time

I just got my us-plastics monthly catalog.
1/16 they don't have in supreme.
They do have it in PharMed.
