Dosing Pump which to Buy??

I'm new to the dosing pumps, so Im trying to figure out what is best out there for what I want to do which Ill probably start dosing 2 part and Im sure more down the road. So I looked at the GHL KH Director Doser 2.1 SA, 4 Pumps, Black Combo, http://www.aquacave.com/ghl-kh-director-doser-2-1-sa-4-pumps-black-combo.html
Which is pricey, but I only like to buy stuff once and not mess around with stuff that will not work or fail down the road easily.

Any help or suggestions would be Awesome Thx!!

You have linked a dosing pump / KH monitor combo. If you are starting with 2-part, I would look at the following. Same dosing pump but without the alkalinity monitor.

GHL makes a solid dosing pump, this is an excellent choice as far as dosing pumps go.

So the alkalinity monitor I wont need at all or just for starting off??

GHL doser 2.1 stand-alone is what you want. Number of heads is your choice.

PS - Probably the best doser on the market.

Look into the core 5th from Pacific Sun....So precise and so much more than just a doser. I've had mine for a few years, its rock solid

The GHL 2.1 is absurdly easy to use, amazingly reliable, and the accuracy is awesome right out of the box, no calibration necessary. Well worth every penny IMO. Ghl is quality.

The slave is designed to work with the GHL controller or a master doser. If you don’t already have a master or GHL Profilux, you’ll need the master doser.

No, you don’t need the alk monitor. It’s a new toy for more advanced reefers.

I really like the Kamoer dosing pump because you can administer it from your iPhone. It also includes a temp probe as an added bonus.

I have the KH Director and 2x 4 head slaves
I absolutely love it. Please remember that the KH Director will use three heads for its own operation. If you only have one slave then you only have one head left to dose. I bought a second slave because I dose triton.
Honestly it is by far the best reef purchase I have ever made especially when you let it control the dosing.
Is it expensive.......yes
Is it worth is..........absolutely

I'm a big fan of the Kamoer line of dosing pumps. I have a few friends with them and they rave about them. Big advantage for them is that medical and commercial dosing pumps is their primary business.
