Dosing pump

Hello reefers, i want to know if anyone have any experience with the new GHL Profilux dosing pumps with the new software and web interface. Is it more difficult to program than the old ghl dosers? I can't seem to find enough info on how it works. I really want the old profilux dosing pumps with the built in controllers, but looks like it has been discontinued so I'm looking into the new one

Is it accurate as the older models?
What about any negatives about the doser like software freezing disconnecting etc ?
I wish there was a video out there explaining how to set up, really want a ghl doser but I'm afraid it might be a little difficult for me with all the new features. I'm not really technology savvy

I connect to its wifi then adjust the dosing schedule and then log off using my iPhone
I like it over the little screen on older models lets me see better what I am doing.

I picked mine up a MACNA this past September. I was shown how to use it by the owner of GHL.

I use Balling method so it is simple to set up and run. Just test the alk and cal every couple of days. To make sure I am dosing enough.

Watched the video the app is different now. Or the iOS app is different.

Here is the main screen. You tap on the container
To change the dosing amounts and time.

This is the overview page of the pump.

This page shows what is in the container you are dosing with pump 1 and it keeps track of the amount in the container.

This is where you set up your dosing schedule mine is set for the same time everyday and it is automatic. You can set it to dose for every hour if you want. Also on different days it's all up to what you are dosing.

Oh and you have to be connected to the wifi of the GHL dosing pump to access the pump settings with the app.

May I ask what's the balling method ?

The Balling method is the original dosing method for cal alk and mag.
While some like the two part here in the USA The Balling Method is the accepted method around the world An it is why you see dosing pumps with at least 3 and 4 pumps offer for sale.
