Trying to do some research on preferred dosing pumps. I am probably going to start adding corals besides softies so levels may start changing between water changes.

Any suggestions on how to get started would be great!

What are you going to dose? I use All for Reef which is a 1 part solution. I have a Kamoer 1x bluetooth pump. You can dose up to 12 times a day from .1ml to 100mls. Has worked well for me. $69 on amazon

For my 2 part dosing I am currently using the Neptune dos and I really like it but it requires the use of a controller. Which is worth the cost but expensive
If looking for cheap reliable pumps it’s hard to be the kamoer x1 pumps IMO.

I dose 8 things hourly with these two Jebao DP 4s, $88.00 each, running 4 years now.

I like my red sea pumps. Highly recommend you avoid coralbox or whatever they call it now. Failed for me and caused a tank crash. They dont hold pressure without a check valve which is completely unacceptable. I have an old kamoer that is excellent as well but red sea gets my vote. I run 3 units.

I’m assuming calcium and alk. Other have given feedback that mag may not be needed.

Nopox, MG, CA and Alk, hourly, but not a full day for Nopox and MG. Alk on the hour and CA on the half hour.
Red Sea Trace ABC and D, twice daily, noon and midnight.
I need to figure out how to do my alk and cal like that over 24 hours. I have alk going over first 10 and calcium after that over night.
