I use seachem marine buffer powder and advantage calcium powder.

I mix according to directions but I was wondering I have a 36 gallon tank and for the marine buffer I add 1.5tsp to a cup of ro water to dose. Can I premix these in gallon jugs for instance 24 tsp of marine buffer to a gallon and then just pour a cup as I need it to my tank? Same thing with the calcium just different amounts

I believe you can. Many years ago, I used to premix calcium in a 5 gallon bottle and use a drip line to feed my sump. It is the same principal.

Agreed, its like using that jug as a doser, except your not adding it to the tank until you want to.

I just wasn't sure if it was ok to premix the stuff if it went bad or anything

You know with it being powder

Just get some A&H Baking Soda @ 1 1/8 cups per gallon of RO/DI water. And Calcium Chloride from BRS @ 1 1/4 cup per gallon of RO/DI water.
Use this calculator using Randy's Recipe 2 for the Alk and Ca parts.
