I suspect he means so if the water level raises it doesn't uncontrollably add a few mL's of each when the water creeps up. mine are low because the Neptune magnetic probe holder/dosing line holder I use is designed for use with both and obviously requires it to be low so the probes are half submerged so I'm even more puzzled. at any rate, it's never been a problem for me so I'm also curious if that's the reasoning behind it.Why have the tubes above the water level?
