Today I got a 40g breeder and moved everything over from my old tank. I thought was a 36g but found out the hard way it was a 26g I was dosing 2ml daily of b ionic should I dose still in the 40g

Like said above, test first. Although it's the same livestock it's a new tank, new flow, new distance from light and so new growth rate/new uptake of elements. Test now and test tomorrow at the same time so you can start getting an idea of normal day to day uptake. Also prepare for all that to change as things settle in.

I have to agree with @rastareefs. Your parameters are likely to be all over the place initially after the move. You're going to have to monitor your Alk consumption closely for a while to know what the tank wants. Chances are you will have lower Alk and Calk consumption as your corals adjust to the new environment.

Good thing I didn’t dose. Checked my alk and cal this morning alk was 15 and cal is 500 do just need to keep a eye on them and hope they come down or so I need to do something to drop them a little. I had to add more new water than I planned I thought my old tank was a 36 but was 26 so I used all my old tank water and had to add 15+g new water

Some corals are ticked but haven’t seen anything horrible yet

Should I let my tank dirty up some before water change

What kind of salt are you using?

What kind of test kits are you using and are they expired?

What kind of corals do you have in your tank currently?

What is your magnesium currently at right now?

If it truly is at 15dkh and 500ppm calcium then I would not dose and just continue on with your weekly or whenever you do your regular water changes until your levels drop.
