Guys I’ve been using triton core7 base elements for 3-4 months but my lfs doesn’t have in stock

Only choice is core7 triton method , other methods and flex

Or I just make the transition to afr since I’m going to be dialing in a new product anyway

The decision is really up to you. But, I liked AFR when I was using it. Simple and stress free, one solution and corals grew …

The other methods I used are FM Balling Light and TM Original Balling.

I have not tried Triton. The availability was always inconsistent when I looked into it.

Good luck,

Going off the calculator I need 55ml per day for my .8kh consumption
Sound about right?
I’m at 11.3 after a c0ck up today so I may start at 45ml and let it settle around 9-10 I guess

I didn’t even know TM had a calculator. But I agree with the number. To raise a 100L tank by 0.1dKH, you would use 1.7 ml. Your 400L tank would be 6.8ml for every 0.1dkh of demand.

With the mixing it says add the 160g powder to 900ml rodi but that’ll make more than a litre by 60nl?

Not necessarily. You cannot just add volumes. Powders can even reduce the volume of a liquid they are added to, although that extreme case is unusual.
