Anyone have any recommendations for general dosing? Besides general maintenance and water changes, just want to make sure that I have all the right elements in the water for healthy specimens. It's just a 20 gallon with a handful of inverts and a pair of clowns.

Okay. Water changes I can do.

I guess I'm just wondering if there is an equivalent to people taking a daily vitamin, but for marine aquariums.

I have a 29g biocube and only need to do water changes. It's been running for a little over a year now and have only needed to dose alk once to bring it up a little. My numbers are always where I want them, but my tank is not very demanding yet either. I would just check your cal, mag and alk to see if either is dropping and add based on that.

There's a lot of snake oil out there, along with other supplements that really aren't necessary. Practicing good husbandry goes a long way for the health and welfare of your system.

Without testing your water parameters as other have suggested water changes with a good salt mix should maintain your tank. Rule of thumb don't add anything unless you can test.
