Dosing reef aquarium with 2 part and magnesium

Hi I'm new to this forum. I need help my calcium is 440, dkh is 12, mag is 800. I have a mixed reef and I want to my calcium at 465, magnesium at 1400 not too sure what alk should be. I have a 4 head doser pump I have 2 part and magnesium on the 4th head I'm going to dose trace elements. My question is how to dose the major 3 to maintain the levels I started? I also heard you dose calcium and alkalinity equally. What I don't understand about that is on a calculator it's telling me to dose different amounts. I'm confuse and need help. Thank you in advance

Your dkh is high. Should drop it a bit, I would say keep it between 8-9. Mag should be around 1320.

I though it was too high I'm going to test again to make sure I got the right numbers

What salt do you use and have you tested a fresh mix? My coral pro salt mixes at almost 12dkh so I have to be careful and not do too big of a water change.

I use reef crystal and no I don't test fresh mix I know I should. I do a 50 gal water change every month just did one Saturday will retest today to make I got it right and will post results

What I did was test a lot and get your big 3 all where you want them, then wait 24 hours and test again to see how much the levels drop then use a calculator to see what needs to be added for each of the 3, then set your dosing pumps to that ml, it's a good starting point. Test again in 24 hrs. And adjust as needed. After that you shouldn't have to test as much. Remember every tank is different and you probably won't dose equal amounts of the 2 part.
