Dosing schedule

Just got my bubble magus doser online and i was wondering what everyones dosing scedule is. Do you do 12,8,6 etc. times a day?

I set mine for dosing every hr , 24's a day.

Yes , i dose continuous as needed. My 180 and 45 frag tank system is loaded with colonies and frags. You have to start low and test daily to see what it demands.

Without knowing your tank demands, I would start at 20 ml's per day on the Alk & Cal 2-part and 7 ml's of mag. Test daily watch corals for any good or bad changes.

When i was manually dosing i was dosing 60mls. ca and alk and having a hard time keeping alk level up. So i thought i would start there and increase if i need to. I have lots of corals in my 100. Also been dosing mag. and it seems to be okay.

If you are using the same 2-part alk/calk it would be safe to say to start your dosing at 60 ml's/day.

Thats what i am using. I found bulk ca,alk mag. at drs. foster and smith cheaper than brs and shipping was alot less.

As a rule of thumb, Start your mag aprox 1/3rd of amount your using for alk/calc.
