Setting my 2part Doser. Not sure when to dose alk and cal. Nighttime?daytime? Alternated alk and cal?24 hour span or 12 hour span. I would love to see your schedules. I'm using BRS dosers hooked up to an apex

In general, dosing over a 24 hour period would certainly help maintain more consistent levels which is optimal. Make sure not to dose together.

I split the dose to 12x per day. Alk and Calk dosed a half hour apart.

So you would does alkalinity every two hours and same with calcium just a half an hour apart.

Example: cal - 12-2-4-6
All - 12:30-2:30-4:30

That would work. Or an hour apart. Whatever floats your boat. :)
If your dosing amount is too small, cut it down to 6x per day.
The point is just to evenly spread it out throughout the day and try to dose calc and alc at least 20-30 mins apart to avoid precipitation.

You answered my next question I was thinking of cutting it down to six times per day

The airline that feeds the 2 part additive, would it be fine if I put it in the return pump section of my refugium

Also does it matter if the dozer pump is higher or lower than the feed tube

That's where I have mine, anywhere with high flow will work as long as the additives get dispersed quickly. Make sure to check the openings of the tubing every now and again because sometimes they get crusted up.

It does not matter as much with the BRS dosers since there is little chance of back siphoning or anything, but I think it's safer to keep the pumps higher than both the additive containers or the feed into the tank, just in case one of the tubing connections near the pump gets loose and starts leaking.

Thanks that's a big help. Do you have BRS doser hooked up to the apex

You're welcome. I run my BRS dosers from my Apex, but I used to just have them on mechanical light timers and that worked fine too, although a little more tricky to get the dosing dialed in since the Apex can control the run time down to the second. There is a nice Apex dosing calculator at: http://www.reeftronics.net/adpg/dosingcalc.php
