Hello Guys, I'm confused by the measurements, I need your help.
I have an aquarium of 935 liters, and I purchased this Sodium Silicate 40-50% (SiO2 27,5-29,5%), how much ml dose per week?
Molecular formula: Na2O (SiO2) n (2 <n <4)
Molecular weight: -xChemical composition: The chemical composition of sodium silicate is usually expressed by
weight or molecular relationship between silicon and sodium oxides. So a sodium silicate
ratio 3.3 parts by weight of silicon oxide (SiO2) to 1.0 parts by weight of silicon oxide
sodium (Na2O). Commercial sodium silicate solutions can range from 1.6 to 3.98 parts
by weight of SiO2 to Na2O.
UN No
CAS: 1344-09-8
Na2O: 8.40 to 9.20%
SiO2: 27.5 to 29.5%
SiO2 / Na2O ratio (w / w): 3.00 to 3.35
Baby (at 20 oC): 39.00 to 41.50
Specific weight: 1.360 to 1.420 g / cm3
Viscosity at 25 ° C: 70 to 170 cp

Backgound:
- I have Dino's Amphidinium - Then I dosed No3 + Po4 - It recuced but still on sandbed.
- NO3 1-4PPM / PO4 0,04-0,08
- I have GHA - Then I used API Algaefix + (fluconazole - used once a week 5mg per liter for 3 consecutive weeks, brushed all stones, but I still have it on my reef, I could not get rid of it)
- NOW my sandbed are full of Cyano + a little of dinoflagelates...
- I purchased a microscope and I have no signs of Diatoms, I just have Ciano + Dino.
My hope is to dose silicate asking for Diatoms help... what do you think?
