I was thinking of dosing skimate back into my system to raise nutrient levels. Has anyone done this or is doing it now??

Theres a lot of other yuck in there you dont want. It would be easier to get a super dry skim or feed more. IMO.

Coming from someone who hasn't collected skimmate in almost a month due to using Fluconazole for Bryopsis I'd say go for it. I've seen no ill effects, but an increase in coral coloration.

I know of very experienced refeers that do it. Not all the time but as one told me "it's instant coral food."

I dosed by accident trying to get a sticky skimmer cup off. About 1/4 of the cup went back into the tank. SPS had a field day with incredible polyp extension with no ill effects. That being said, I wouldn't intentionally do it.
