I currently have a 125 g DT, triton 40g sump with large refugium.

Water parameters

Salinity 34.6
Phosphate Hanna. .02
Alk Hanna 9.6
Nitrate 0 Red Sea tester

My nitrates are always 0. Corals seem stunted in growth. Not really colorful either.

Saw some posts on dosing nitrates. I purchased the stump remover. Seeking some help and instructions. Thanks for any help

There is a thread that talks about the steps in dosing. I would search dosing stump remover and you’ll find a ton of steps. I’ve used it many times and my advice is to take it slow.

Another advice if you want nitrates to naturally stay up is to turn your refugium light off more. I’m not sure if you’re running it 24/7 but if you’re maybe it’s stripping your water of nutrients. You can either have a light cycle and or add more fish.

Good luck!
