Dosing Startup

Hi

i want to start dosing using the Triton Core 7 Core elements. I already have my pump and solutions. Currently only have live rock in the tank with CUC and 7 fish.
I want to start adding corals but can I dose before add these or should I wait until they are in the tank and determine there uptake?
what Is the best method to work out how much to dose per day? I know they recommend 2ml per 100 litres so do I just start with 5 ml of each and adjust accordingly?

i can provide my current test levels if required.

I would wait to dose until you see levels drop and then calculate the demand. The BRS calculator is an excellent tool for this.

So add corals; wait for an uptake and dose to replace what’s lost?

I would add corals and then wait 10 days. Test and see what dropped. Use the BRS dosing calculator to calculate what you need add to fix the levels and then divide by 10 to find your daily dose.
