Are there reliable dosing systems out there ?

I’ve read of tanks being wiped out when the dosing system malfunctioned and overdosed X Amount of elements.

Really considering a dosing system due to Calcium swings recently 440 to 360 one time

Hi, I use a kamoer f4 for about 2 years. It’s very accurate and never missed a beat

Anything man made is prone to failure. With that said, everything eventually fails, but there are dosers that can be rock solid for the most part.

DOS - works but loud and requires an APEX to run
GHL stand alone units
BRS single head 1.1ml/m pumps

As well as a few others, but those 3 would be on my short list.

I've been using the BRS 1.1 ml pump for a couple of years and it is swell. I have it hooked to a light timer and it kicks on every 15 minutes for 5 minutes.

I've over/under dosed using every other method....manual dripping, water cooler ATO, kalk reactor ATO. I should have bought a dosing pump years ago.

I've had good luck with the Bubble magus dosers. Replacement heads & tubing are inexpensive and I 've had mine 4+ and have replaced one head.
