So my questions is.
Would it be possible to encourage heterotrophic prokaryotes to supplement the aquarium with the inorganic matter needed in our aquarium?
This could be done simply by feeding the fish and / or the corals ?

Lol yeah I guess we can leave the working calcium reactor for now haha.
I did go to an aquaponics seminar, the guy said that there exists some food balanced for fish that will make the plants thrive(broken down into inorganic matter), that and mycorrhiza.
There is on the same idea, an honing necessary but hey, life is everywhere so it get's in there.
My wondering is about that being true to our aquariums.
I'm pretty sure one day there will be something out there doing exactly that.
Gut loaded frozen dried shrimp is an example but there is a fine line between amino acids/proteins and trace elements. Do we even know if our tank fish have the intestinal flora to be healthy?
I've been told there are more bacterias in 1 cubic mm of ocean water than thereare humans on earth.
How close is it to our enclosed aquariums?

I expect that trace metals in tanks without supplements are mostly maintained by foods. But there is no special type of food needed or known for this.
