This morning when I checked out my dosing lines, one of them (Triton Core7 #1) had emptied out on the output side. I ran the pump to bring the fluid back to the end of the line and tonight when I checked it again, it had emptied again. It’s doesn’t appear to be a siphon issue as it didn’t empty my container and still had prime.

My setup is as follows: Dosing out of Triton Core7 bottles with rigid tubing into a mur lock fitting. Silicone airline tubing from there to doser and doser to sump. Dosing bottles are lower than output to sump. Run from the bottles to doser is less than 2 feet. From doser to sump is about 5 feet. I’m seeing air bubbles in the lines and have been working to fix that but the line emptying is something new.

Can anyone offer thoughts on what’s going on and suggest a solution? Thanks!

I had some issue with the mur lock making a good seal with the rigid tubing. Eventually I recut the tubing and really shove it in there, but it's not perfect. I think the mur lock fittings assume some compression of the tubing to make a good seal, and rigid tubing is pretty brittle. I may make an adapter someday so that I have a better seal on the rigid tubing, but haven't bothered.

Other idea is to make sure that the tubing coming out of the dosing container is upright, as opposed to a U. Then air get pumped out instead of air slipping back to the mur lock and breaking the seal. Just some thoughts.
