When seeding up your dozer do you run your dosing tubes into the (or under the surface) water of your aquarium or let the tubes reside above the water surface?

I keep them about 1/2" above the water. Depending on where your pumps are located and the type of pump you *could* back siphon or the calcium/alk can participate out. Best to keep them out IMO

Always keep them above the water. Back siphoning is very possible when the line is under water. The pump can stop in a position that allows the line to back siphon. Always check the ends of the lines with a paper clip to keep any build up in your lines. This can cause the lines to come off your pump. Thru back pressure.

That is great idea.. Got any pics of the setup
It's a very simplistic setup, the ATO output is just directed over the dosing lines. It helps that there is a dosing tube holder and the bottom bracket causes the RO water to disperse over the lines. It definitely keeps the ends of my dosing tube free of any buildup as you can see from the photo.
